Mexico City, March 13, 2018 - Committed to operating at the forefront of the culinary landscape, Grupo Vidanta—leading developer of resorts and touristic infrastructures in Mexico and Latin America—invites its guests and the general public to pamper their palates at the Koli Festival, which will take place at Epazote restaurant located in Grand Luxxe Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta from March 17th to 25th .
Due to the success of its first edition, this exclusive gastronomic event will once again be held by the brothers Rodrigo, Patricio, and Daniel Rivera-Rio of the restaurant Koli in Monterrey, innovator of regional cuisine. Recognized as Young Talent during Millesime-GNP CDMX 2017, these ingenious brothers bring creative concepts to the table with a culinary approach that’s simple and powerful, focused on ingredients and technique, where each dish is full of history and creativity all at once.
Epazote—winner for the seventh consecutive year of Four Diamonds by The American Automobile Association (AAA), and holder of the "T" distinction granted by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) to hotels, restaurants, or bars, that offer the highest quality products and services related to tequila—is the ideal setting for the brothers to present an exquisite custom menu showcasing original ingredients and culinary traditions. The menu will consist of ten courses designed and paired to highlight traditional regional flavors: diners will taste typical recipes from the Northeast region such as: Taco al vapor with chorizo, cabbage and black sauce; Durito made with shrimp in its brine; Carne asada with marrow butter, cauliflower, celery, and roasted onions; and Huesca, a dessert made from yogurt, pistachio, anacahuita, and raspberry.
