Tianguis Turístico 2017 con Sede en Acapulco

SECTUR Acknowledges Grupo Vidanta during the Acapulco-based “Tianguis Turístico 2017”

Mexico City, March 31st 2017 - In the 42nd annual “Tianguis Turístico” that took place from March 27-30th in Acapulco, Guerrero, Grupo Vidanta–leading developer of resorts and tour-ist infrastructures in Mexico and Latin America–was awarded with the Touristic Recognition 2017 for punctual and satisfying achievement of the federal normativity, exceptionally high quality and professional services, along with the distinctive “S” that acknowledges companies in Mexico that share a sustainable and protective vision of the environment.

Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta was awarded the Touristic Recognition 2017 by SECTUR (Secretaría de Turismo) and EMA (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación) due to the high quality and professionalism of its 5 and 4-star hotels, Grand Luxxe and The Grand Bliss, respectively. These destinations feature: an 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and the longest golf cart suspension bridge in the world; two luxurious spas; innovative ballrooms and convention centers; luxurious gyms; high-end boutiques; various entertainment options; more than 30 world-class restaurants; breathtaking pools; and much more.

Vidanta Acapulco also received the distinctive “S” granted by SECTUR (Secretaría de Tur-ismo) and SEMARNAT (Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales), as an ac-knowledgment of its exceptional environmental policies and sustainable practices, which are aligned to the standards of EarthCheck. Some of these practices include the management of water and waste, their procedures for energy renewal, and a turtle nursery for the preserva-tion of turtles, which released more than 54,000 hatchlings last year.
