Mexico City, July 5th 2017 - The Traditional Flavors Festival is the first culinary event organized by the distinguished Chef Juantxo Sánchez for Grupo Vidanta, the leading resort and tourism infrastructure developer in Mexico and Latin America. The festival will be running from July 7th through the 17th at Chiringuito, the authentic Spanish restaurant located at Vidanta Riviera Maya.
Featuring items made from the freshest ingredients and showcasing high-quality products from Spain and Mexico, the menu will include classic recipes from the Iberian country and will span from salads and tapas, to soups, rice, fish, seafood, meats, poultry, and desserts. Highlights include the "montaditos", as well as the sea urchin soup and the cod "al ajoarriero" accompanied by a local Caribbean lobster.
Regarding this extraordinary collaboration, Alexis Bostelmann, Vidanta’s Corporate Chef, points out that the alliance with Juantxo Sánchez—whose time in such famous eateries as Theatron, Las Mañanitas, and El Lago de Chapultepec have made him worthy of several awards—enriches the culinary diversity offered at the resort. “It's also a unique opportunity for our chefs to learn from him and continue developing their extraordinary culinary abilities, which will allow us to keep innovating and offering the best of international cuisine in all of our restaurants," says Bostelmann.
