Nuevo Vallarta, MX (Jan. 24, 2017) – Vidanta, Mexico’s leading resort operator and developer, announces the opening of two brand new Grand Luxxe towers within its existing resort destinations. Representing an expansion of luxury offerings, the debut plays a significant role in Vidanta’s continued investment into both the Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya regions.
As Vidanta’s premier resort hotel offering, the Grand Luxxe category offers exclusive vacation experiences from lavish lobbies and posh living spaces to high-touch personalized service, having earned the prestigious AAA Five Diamond recognition in Nuevo Vallarta.
“This expansion has allowed us to increase the premier category in two of our most popular resort destinations,” said Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta. “The debut of new Grand Luxxe experiences represents our commitment to evolve with and for our guests to continually provide incredible vacation options.”
The new Grand Luxxe Tower Four at Vidanta Riviera Maya and Grand Luxxe Tower Five at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta channel the brand’s approach to modern luxury while embracing the unique cultures of both coastal destinations.
Inspired by the culture and crafts of a traditional Mexican town, each tower was designed with personal details using local materials and resources that are reflective of the destination’s particular personality. Using a variety of textures, the thoughtful design includes a selection of wood, fabric and marble to create a soothing, yet festive palette that evokes both relaxation and adventure. Artwork by Mexican photographers Rigoberto Moreno and Juan Manuel McGrath bring the experience full circle.

Boasting breathtaking views of Banderas Bay and the Ameca River, the restaurant draws inspiration from sailors who long ago divided their charts in five parts for navigation, and also used charcoal to power their vessel’s steam. Innovative and modern, Quinto specializes as a steakhouse with premium cuts and dishes prepared in a charcoal oven, creating unique flavors and presentations for guest indulgence. In addition, the restaurant offers complete service for the new tower, including breakfast, poolside snacks, lunch, dinner and an impressive cocktail program helmed by Vidanta’s mixologist team.
